| an Open Letter to Jack Welsh...
Hi Jack, RE...GE LYNN... I know you've moved on from GE. But, you are still the man for this task. As a sometimes from Lynn, sometimes from Salem Guy, you have taken that ol' North Shore Personal Achievement Drive onward and upward in admirable fashion. Congrats! However, your local legacy...GE Lynn...hasn't gone onward or upward one iota. In fact, it looms there, draining the life from this City. I haven't done any Empirically Provable Research to support this statement. But I know I'm right...don'tcha know? With the above in mind, here's my suggestion. Rather than get mired in Politics, name calling, the Art of Compromise and all that useless blather, I volunteer to help you save the day. For starters, I have designed a re-useable, self-sustaining, Tensegrital Monocoque SpaceCraft...GAIA TWO...which "Falls Into Space", kinetically propelled by compressed air...and returns with no ablative or dissipative issues...to land gently, safely on water. If you'll work with me, we can establish GE Lynn as not only the place where these vehicles are constructed, but their Global Center of Operations. Lynn Harbor is perfect for launch, landing, and all Earth Based Operations. As an added bonus, I have been working on a Tidal Generating concept using what I call 'Excited Mesh Fabric'. By the time GAIA TWO is in full operation, GE Lynn will be fueled by the prototype Mesh Generator. Which we will then construct, distribute, define to suit individual situations, and develop into a big part of the Global Solution...right here in Lynn...the ol' HomeTown, eh? C'mon...we'll do the whole thing right upfront, warts and all...just like the Early Space Program. 24/7/365...live on the www...hell, we'll get everybody from the Car Wreck fans, just wanting to see the whole thing crash and burn, to the newly initiated Save The Earthers, rooting us home...sounds like win...win...to me.
